  • We (Walk-Me) will collect your dog(s) for walks, day care or boarding at the time agreed and from your address, unless advised otherwise. Please allow up to 30 minutes after your booked time slot for collection and drop-off to take account of unforeseen circumstances. In adverse weather conditions (i.e. snow & ice) please understand that we are still open, but may be delayed. If we are more than two hours overdue then Walk-Me will refund 50% of the service for that day.
  • You will need to ensure that access is given to Walk-Me to collect your dog(s) from the agreed address at the agreed times or provide us with a key to the place where your dog(s) is kept. Walk-Me will use the key to collect and return the dog(s) and for no other purpose. Walk-Me will keep the key safe, not give access to it to others, not copy it and will return it to the customer on demand.
  • Access to your property must be straightforward e.g. keys should open locks easily and doors and gates should be easy to open. If Walk-Me are unable to gain access to your property after making every reasonable effort you will still be charged for the agreed service for that day.
  • Where a dog flap is fitted, it is your responsibility to ensure that the garden and its fences are secure. It is not Walk-Me’s responsibility to check this before leaving your dog(s) following a walk.
  • The Client’s dog may be transported with other dogs in a Walk Me vehicle. The Client agrees that Walk Me cannot be held liable for death or injury to their dog in the event of a motor vehicle accident.
  • Walk-Me holds insurance in respect to Public Liability.
  • If Walk-Me are walking your dog(s) then this walk will last for at least an hour.
  • Walk-Me is fully insured to walk up to 5 dogs at a time. Generally your dog(s) will be walked in a group with other friendly dogs.
  • Walk-Me will supply harnesses, collars and leads as required.
  • Walk-Me will keep your dog(s) on a lead whenever out of the house unless alternative arrangement are agreed.
  • Walk-Me fees are payable within seven days at the end of each month.
  • Walk-Me reserves the right to periodically increase the rates they charge. Walk Me will not increase your rates until you have been informed in advance.
  • You, as the owner, are to make full disclosure of any problems that may make your dog(s) unsuitable for walking or home boarding. These problems include behavioural or health problems, including aggression, incontinence or lack of house training, excessive loud barking or whining. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter that might render a dog unsuitable for walking, day care or home boarding, will be deemed an omission and a fundamental breach of this agreement.
  • You must ensure that your dog(s) is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and tick and de-wormer treatments.
  • Walk-Me will inform you of any incident or anything noticed regarding the dog(s), that as the owner, you ought to know.
  • Walk-Me will take care, as far as it is practical, that a dog’s behaviour is neither a nuisance nor danger to anyone, to other animals or to itself. However, Walk-Me cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in our care. You as the owner need to accept full liability for any loss or damage caused by your dog(s).
  • Walk-Me will make every effort to contact you in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact.
  • Walk-Me reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health in the case of an emergency. Any decisions of this nature will be acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. As the owner, you are responsible for any vet fees or third party claims arising from whilst the dog is in the care of Walk-Me.
  • At least 48 hour’s notice must be given by you, as the customer, to change the dog care service otherwise you may be charged the fee for that service.
  • The Client gives consent for their dog’s image to be used in photo or video format on Walk Me promotional material and social media or in any format that Walk Me considers appropriate.
  • Should the Client’s dog be deemed to be unsuitable by Walk Me then Walk Me reserves the right to cancel the booking indefinitely and with immediate effect.
  • Force Majeure. Neither party shall be in breach of this Contract nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under this Contract if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
